The Free Application for Federal Student Aid form, commonly referred to as FAFSA is a form that will determine the eligibility of students who seek financial aid for college.
In order to apply for FAFSA you should visit the U.S. Department of Education’s website, or contact them by phone.
It is recommended to apply early as many of the government grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis. It's also important to check if the U.S. Govt. will continue to grant Federal student loans or not under Donald Trump.
There are certain criteria that need to be met in order to receive financial aid. Some of the criteria include maintaining good grades at school, and if you are a male you must also be registered with the United States Selective Service.
You should also remember to apply for your FAFSA on an annual basis. You can apply if you are a current or prospective college student.
